TOPIC: FORGIVEN SINS CAN BECOME UNFORGIVEN SINS (MT18:23-35)

There is no punishment for sins forgiven, King David killed Uriah the Hittite. He pleaded with God in (Psalm51) for forgiveness and God forgave him. Christ Jesus is our sin bearer. The punishment for our sins was placed on him. However Matt18:23-35 teaches us that forgiven sins can be come unforgiving sins. “Then his Lord after that he had called him, said unto him, “O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all the debt, because thou desiredst me”. And his Lord was wroth and delivered him to the tormentors till he should pay all that was due unto him. “Mt18:32-34) when your sin is restored the punishment returns. That why people who were once healed fall sick again of the same sickness, and those who were rich becomes poor again. You can’t be too wise with God (Mt6:14) teaches that if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly father will also forgive you, but if you forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your father forgive your trespasses. If after you have forgiven someone his trespasses and you again restore the sin God will also restore your own sins, for it is do unto others as you wish them to do unto you. When you forgive someone his sins, forgive from your whole heart. Don’t forgive and you still mete out punishment. If you have faith in God for a thing and then you lose faith, you will be punished by not receiving answer to that prayer. If again you exercise faith, answer will come. If God give you a thing as a result of faith and then you disbelieve God in how he gave you that thing, you will surely miss it. Anytime you exercise faith again it is restored, Jesus once told someone “sin not so that something terrible may not happen to you”.



If you are blessed by God by payment of correct tithe regularly or by studying and meditating upon the scripture and then you give up you will lose the flow of your blessing, Perhaps it is evangelism and good works that feeds your church with souls, if you cease to do it, then you will cut short the flow of your miracle. Anytime you start again, the miracle restarts. For your generator to keep on running, you must fuel it continuously. Know the source of your blessing and maintain it. It can be prayerfulness or visitation or preaching always. It can be righteousness. Know what terminates the flow of your blessing and miracle. Be watchful. Pay attention to issues as they come, for me, I have discovered that each time I continuously search the Bible and believe and then do what I see, my ministry will revive, when I stop, the ministry dies.

Each time my environment is kempt, the ministry will revive and each time it is unkempt, it will die. Each time there is flow of money to me, the ministry will revive and vise versa. It therefore mean that when I study hard, I will have something to give unto others therefore they will surely come to receive it. Faith is actually the driving force. If you are merciful to others, they will be merciful to you, but if you are hard on people they will do the same to you. Whatever you see in life is what you deserve. It is the some total of your daily and hourly input. If you put in only words, you receive only words, but it you put in your substance you will receive substance too. If you are friendly to people, they will be friendly to you and vise versa. If you love only children, only children will love you but if you love all categories of people, the same will love you.

Forgiven sins can become unforgiving sins, therefore continue to do what you know to do well and your blessing will continue to flow. And do not wait for people to come to you and confess their sins before you forgive them, just forgive unconditionally that you too will earn abundant forgiveness. When you forgive and feel forgiven, what a great peace it will bring to you, and if there is anything that is  so great in this world it is peace with God and peace with men in addition to peace with yourself. Forgive yourself too for the sin you do against self. The kingdom of God is nothing apart from righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. May that peace and joy be yours in abundance. Learn to forgive men from your heart and also continue to do righteousness in order to maintain your forgiveness and flow of blessing through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

What a big load it is to carry people around in your heart and a load for you not to be forgiven by God and people! It is good to always toe the part of peace for the scriptures says “follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord”. if you don’t do this, you will never see the Lord in this life and in the life to come. Those who follow peace with all men have a pure heart. and the Bible says “ blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God” forgiving people their sins is being merciful to yourself and them, for all human beings are liable and vulnerable to sin. You don’t have to treat people according to their sin for God doesn’t. And if God were to treat us according to our sins who could have survived till today?.

(Mt11:28-30) says “Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and will give you rest”, Come to Jesus now and empty your load at His cross and obtain rest. He is kind, merciful and gracious enough to forgive you, just confess to him that you are a sinful man and needs forgiveness. Be like the publican that prayed saying, “Lord be merciful unto me poor sinner”. And remember all men are sinners and needs forgiveness all the time. Just pray and be saved now, pray and confirm your status with Christ, for forgiven sis can become unforgiven sins.

SAVED TO SAVE

You have been saved to save others. What have been done for you do same to others. You have been reconciled to reconcile others. You have been forgiven to forgive others, you have been shown mercy to show mercy to others. You been loved to love others. You have been provided for to provide for others. Really you cannot hide what you are or have been done for you in this life, it is what others do to you that you will do to them, positive or negative, hence environment matters a lot. A city on a hill cannot be hidden, you can only give somebody what you have. If you have joy, you will give others joy, if you have peace, you will give others peace, if you have holiness and righteousness, that’s what you will give to others. If you have money. You will give others money, but if you have poverty or sickness, that’s what you will give to others e.g. HIV/AIDS OR EBOLA VIRUS Disease.

If you are wise you will make others wise. If you are foolish you will make others foolish. It now depends on who is stronger. If a wise man and a foolish man stay  together, the stronger will make the other what he is. In fact there will exchange what they have. It will now depend on either to accept or reject. The Bible says if a strong man is there and a stronger than he comes in, he will first of all bind the strong man, then spoil his goods. If you have received a strong faith, you will make others strong in faith. if you have the word of God richly in you, you will enrich others with the word of God.

Conversely, if you have received contrary or witchcraft spirit, you will infest others with the same spirit. You can only make others what you are. You can only give others what you have. If you are an apostle, if you are a prophet, evangelist, pastor or teacher, you will end up making others the same. A chemistry master can only produce chemistry graduates. Just as math’s or physics teacher can only produce what he is. A governor will produce governors. A president will produce presidents.

Carpenters can only produce carpenters and lawyers can only produce lawyers. If you have received comfort from God, comfort others with the same comfort, if you know God make others to know God. If you are zealous for God, you will also make others to be zealous for God. So be rest assured that you are producing your likes every day. Therefore be careful of what you do, for others are doing exactly the same. Do good so that you will show others good example: don’t mislead others by bad examples. If you are a hypocrite, you will only end up making others hypocrites. If you are a wanderer you are making others same.

If you are prayerful, you will make others prayerful and if you love praising God, others will do same; if you are good with your spouse others will follow you. If you are a polygamist, others will be like you. If you are like Jesus, others will be like Jesus, if you are hot, others will be hot and if you are cold, others will be cold, if you are a hygienic and healthy man, others will copy you be careful of what you do for all of us will give account before God of what we did while on earth. You have been blessed to bless others, you have been cheered to cheer others, you have been saved to serve others, you have been evangelized to evangelize others.
