There must be evidence of ones professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ. One of such is when you are liberal unto the fellow brethren and, unto all men. There must be evidence of exceeding grace of God in you. Holiness is evidence. Liberal distribution is an unspeakable gift of God. Righteousness is an evidence. Others include:
- Loving to glorify and praise God
- Prayerfulness
- Gracious conversation
- Meditation upon the word of God – Ps 1:2, Joshua 1:8, 1Tim 4:15
- Evangelism- 2 Tim 4:5.
- Loving to fellowship regularly in the church (Heb. 10:25)
- Visitation- Heb 10:24
- Cleanliness
- Godliness- 1Tim 4:7-8
- When you manifest, knowledge and understanding
- When you manifest the gifts of the Holy Spirit
- When you are forgiving. Eph 4:32
- When you are teachable
- When you know and practice essential biblical doctrines
- When you have been baptized both in water and in the Holy Spirit. Acts 10:44, 19:2-6
- When you love preaching 2 Tim 4:2
- When you love singing praises to God
- When you are regular in paying your correct tithe
- When you support the work of God financially and otherwise
- When you don’t hate your brother. 1John 3:14-16
- When you perform miracle. Mk 16:17-18
- When you manifest the fruit of the Spirit- Gal 5:22-23
- If you are able to control your tongue
- When you don’t condemn, backbite and gossip others- Matt. 7:1-2
- When you are able to control your family if you are married –Tim 3:4-5
- When you practice charity from home Matt 7:3-5 1Tim 5:4,8.
- When you have won souls. 2 Cor. 3:1-3
- When you don’t practice heresy.
- When you respect and are subject to people in higher authority. Heb 13:17, 1 Peter 2:13
- If you know the scriptures
- If the words of Christ dwells in you richly
- When you love to search the scriptures – 2Tim 2:15
- When people speak well concerning your faith,
“and the hand of the Lord was with them and a great number believed and turned unto the Lord. The tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem and they sent forth Barnabas who, when he came and had seen the grace of God, was glad… acts 11:21 -23, Phi; 2:13, 1Tim 3:2,1
- When you submit to other Christians
- When you desire more of God daily- 2 Peter 3:18
- When you partake in Holy Communion
- When you set your hope in heaven – Col 3:1-2
- When you believe that Jesus is Lord and the Christ – 1 Cor 12:3, 1Jon 5:1
- When you repent of your past sins- Eph 4:28
- If you believe that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh- 1Jn 4:2, 1 Tim 3:16
- When you believe in the church as the body of Christ and that it is holy and you are a member
- When you honour the church hierarchy- 1 Peter 5:5
- When you believe in one God, one Lord, one Spirit, one Father, one Master, one Mediator, one Body, one faith, one hope, one baptism, one way, one cross, one fight, one message, one step, one name and one love. Eph 4:4-6,25 , 2Tim 2:5.
- When you believe in seeking, searching, doing, reconciling, exploring training and preaching the message of reconciliation to every one, every time and every where Ezra 7:10, Lk 12:31, 2 Tim 4:2, Mt 28:19-20, 2 Cor 5:17-21.
- When you do all these things it means you are led by the Holy Spirit and are saved and therefore a candidate of Heaven –Phi 3:20-21, 1 Peter 5:12.
