Christ Pure Religion Ministry started on 24^th April, 2000 under the name Christ Ambassadors Kingdom Church at the Salvation Army School, IKot Uso Ekong, Eket. It is a follow up of the Salvation Army Warri which was planted by the same person Apostle Father Abraham Edem Bassey Okposin, the son of His Royal Highness Obong Edem Bassey Okposin  (ii) M.O.N,  the former clan- Head of Eket Offiong, Eket Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

We have planted four branches of the church so far (excluding the Salvation Army Warri) including Ikot Uso Ekong Genesis Pilgrims Congregation, Eket Gilgal Pilgrims Congregation, Etebi-Esit Eket Covenant Pilgrims Congregation and Warri Bethel Pilgrims Congregation. We have dedicated members, baptized some in water by once immersion and have been partaking in the Lord’s Supper regularly, we have ordained Pastors.

TOPIC: WHAT IS JESUS TO YOU

The way you know Jesus is the ways you and him will relate, it is the ways he will be useful to you and the way you will show him to others. This is what Jesus is to me.. READ BELOW:

TOPIC: FORGIVEN SINS CAN BECOME UNFORGIVEN SINS (MT18:23-35)

There is no punishment for sins forgiven, King David killed Uriah the Hittite. He pleaded with God in (Psalm51) for forgiveness and God forgave him. Christ Jesus is our sin bearer. The punishment for our sins was placed on him. However Matt18:23-35 teaches us that forgiven sins can be come unforgiving sins. “Then his Lord after that he had called him, said unto him, “O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all the debt, because thou desiredst me”. And his Lord was wroth and delivered him to the tormentors till he should pay all that was due unto him. “Mt18:32-34) when your sin is restored the punishment returns. That why people who were once healed fall sick again of the same sickness, and those who were rich becomes poor again. You can’t be too wise with God (Mt6:14) teaches that if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly father will also forgive you, but if you forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your father forgive your trespasses. If after you have forgiven someone his trespasses and you again restore the sin God will also restore your own sins, for it is do unto others as you wish them to do unto you. When you forgive someone his sins, forgive from your whole heart. Don’t forgive and you still mete out punishment. If you have faith in God for a thing and then you lose faith, you will be punished by not receiving answer to that prayer. If again you exercise faith, answer will come. If God give you a thing as a result of faith and then you disbelieve God in how he gave you that thing, you will surely miss it. Anytime you exercise faith again it is restored, Jesus once told someone “sin not so that something terrible may not happen to you”.

TOPIC: DREAM BIG AND WORK HARD FOR YOU SHALL NOT MISSCARRY YOUR DREAM (GEN32:1-11, GEN37:19-21, 26-27)

You will lose something but take heart (Gen37:23). You may suffer in an empty pit, yet your dream is still alive. They may eat now but they shall beg from you tomorrow (Gen37:34). Let them pretend to be sincere comforters, it does not matter (Gen37:34-35) let them sell you, they are doing that to catapult you to your greatness (Gen37;36) it is announcing you. They may put your life in worst danger by reselling you to Portiphar, the chief executioner of Pharaoh but you shall escape (Gen39:1-4, 19-21). Your fellow prisoners and pharaoh shall dream dreams because of you and you will interpret, displaying your talent which will make your dream to materialize (Gen40:5, 13,10,19,21-2). Man may forget you but God shall remember you. Only continue to do what you know how to do well (Gen41:1,9,15-16). You only have monopoly of your gift and talents (Gen41:25,28,33,37-40, Daniel5:8,4:4-9,19).You may be astonished sometimes but you shall not miscarry your dream for you are the only interpreter. Even if you fall, you shall rise up like Joseph and Nebuchadnezzar (Dan5:18-21, Dan4:3-30, Rom11:11-12,14-15,17-23,28-29,30-32), dry bones shall rise again (Eze37:1-9). You may make mistake like Abraham by begetting Ishmael, but your Isaac shall still come. You may lose all like Job, but you shall have double portion at the end, you shall not crash land, have faith in God (Mk11:22-24),Joseph’s brother and father finally did obeisance to Joseph (Gen42:1-10,Gen43:28 Gen44:13-15,Gen46:28-30). Remember that Israel sent the same Judah that saved Joseph when he arrived at Egypt. Reward! They did obeisance to Joseph (Gen37:5-11). When God put on you the coats of righteousness the world will hate you (Gen37:3-4,John15:18-21,25). Your garments of righteousness are your coat of many colours which the world does not like (Gen39:9).

Don’t look at your earthly father as your father but look at God as your true Father. All those without the coat of many colours of righteousness shall surely do obeisance to you (Mt22:11-14). They may be called but not chosen, they may be sons but not heirs (Rom8:17), you shall manifest like Joseph and as a true son. Dream big and work hard like Joseph (2Tim2:6), be like a hardworking farmer. Study to show yourself approved unto God (2Tim2:15). Endure affliction and hardness like Joseph, Timothy and Paul (2Tim4:5, 2tim2:3), make full proof of your calling and ministry, Joseph and Daniel proved themselves as men with excellent spirit of interpretation of dream, know your talent and develop it until you have mastery of it.

You will have monopoly of it , men will look for you and not you for them, your gift will announce you for a man’s gifts maketh room for him. Develop yourself and strife for mastery (2Tim2:4-5), Joseph brothers said that let us see what shall become of his dreams, but Joseph dreams only waited for the appointed time to manifest. (Heb2:3) at the fullness of times your dreams shall surely speak. You can visualize and imagine things in your mind, it is still dreams and vision, place what you imagine on he Bible, if it tallies it means it is of God, hold on to it all the days of your life, sometimes it can come while you are sleeping, it can come like a prophecy or a burden in your heart. Once the Bible supports it, go ahead and begin to work, for its manifestation. If you cannot interpret your dreams consult an experience person to do it for you, also you can place you conceived dreams to a trusted fellow to confirm it like Paul placed what he preached before Peter, James and John. Someone too can nurture your dream for you like Paul nurtured Timothy’s faith (2Tim1:5, 2Tim2:1, 2Tim1:2). Dream stealer will come be mindful of them. It can be men like Joseph brothers or sickness or lack.

Always believe that your dream will surely manifest no matter the delay. There shall be mockers, skeptics, critics and doubters of your dreams. Overcome them with your faith in your dream and God. There shall be things to distract your attention, but overcome them by visiting your dream again and again to see if you are on it. It can be maintaining what you have already achieved, it can be a name or reputation, it can be acquired or achieved status, maintain it by faith, dream big and work hard for you shall not miscarry your dream. The Bible says there shall be no miscarriage among you, it shall be so in Jesus Name.

TOPIC: A MAN WORTH COPYING

When you chose, you are choosing for all, whatever you say or do, some people are copying you. When you turn your yes to look at something, those sitting next to you will definitely turn their eye to see what you are looking. Everyone has followers, if you are building people are building with you. If you are destroying, people are destroying with you. Everyone in this world is saying “do as I do” (Judges7:17). Like begets like. Salt produces salt. Salt, are you?

When you attend meeting on time and punctually, you give offering of N10 even though much as N1000 is there in your pocket you are telling others to do the same. When you answer roll call of N20 you are telling others to do the same, are you a man worth emulating (Phil4:8-23).

TOPIC: THE TIME OF REFORMATION OF THE SALVATION ARMY DOCTRINE TEXT: HEB 9:10

As a watchman, I am glad to announce that another time of reformation has come.  It is the time reformation of The Salvation Army Doctrines of “no water Baptism and Holy Communion”. I have obtained a more excellent ministry, with better covenant and promises than that of William booth of the Salvation Army - Heb 8:6.

    “For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he saith, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Judah:” Heb 8:7-8

TOPIC: PROOF OF PROFESSED SUBJECTION UNTO THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST

2 COR. 9:13-15,  1 Tim 6:12, Cor. 8:24, 2 Cor 3:1-3, 2 Cor 2:9, 2 Tim 4:5, 1Tim 3:10, Phil. 4:17, 1 Tim.4:5b.

There must be evidence of ones professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ. One of such is when you are liberal unto the fellow brethren and, unto all men. There must be evidence of exceeding grace of God in you. Holiness is evidence. Liberal distribution is an unspeakable gift of God. Righteousness is an evidence.  Others include:

YOUR WIFE IS THE OBJECT OF YOUR LOVE AND YOUR HUSBAND IS THE OBJECT OF YOUR REVERENCE (EPH. 5:33)

The wife is expected to reverence the husband.  She is to respect and honour him as the church reverence and honour Christ.  She is not to insult the husband; she is not to speak against the husband.  She is not to complain about the husband to anyone.  Rather she is to be in subjection to the husband, 1Pet. 3:1-6.   She is to adorn herself with the meek and quiet spirit of the hidden man of the heart.  She may adorn herself moderately with outward adorning of plaiting the hair and of wearing of gold and putting on of apparel.  She is to be chaste in conversation.  She is to fear the husband.

ACCEPT YOURSELF AS YOU SEE AND ACCEPT OTHERS AS YOU SEE THEM.

David said, “I am fearfully and wonderfully made”. Learn to accept yourself as you see and accept others as you see them. It is difficult to create things and difficult to make things happen. Do not worry concerning how you see yourself and others. Change what you can and what you cannot change leave. If you are handsome or beautiful good but if you are ugly still good. Both of you are fearfully and wonderfully made. If you can improve your situation good. Dressing well is good. It is to improve one’s status. Fixing of attachment and make – up is good. It is to improve one’s look.  Song of Solomon 8:8. However, let everything be done with moderation.

TOPIC: RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE AND JOY IN THE HOLY GHOST FROM BEING A SHEEP TO A SHERPHED

Christ came to bring righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. Christ came to bring meaning to your life from you becoming a shepherd after being a sheep. Becoming a giver after being a receiver.

You must necessarily give something to others if your life must have a meaning. You can give food, money, wisdom, knowledge, house, clothes and laughter to others. You can give healing, prayer and words of advice to others as a reasonable and complete human being. You can give Bible, song book and school text books to others. You can even give scholarship to others. Giving is not only limited to the poor and needy. You can equally give to the rich. After all everyone both rich and poor have need.

TOPIC: VALUE WHAT YOU HAVE (1 TIM. 6:6-9)

Be contented and satisfied with what you have at present.  Value it less it be taken away from you.   Seek the Lord while He may yet be found, call upon His name while He is near.  Value that time for it may be taken from you.  Show gratitude with what you have.  Appreciate what is done for you and more will come.  Do not despise the days of small things.  Value your wife, husband, teacher, student, pastor, member, preacher, mother, father, brother, sister, aunty, uncle etc.  if you do not love what you see already how can you love what you have not seen.  Be contented with people and situation.  Don’t feel frustrated.

TOPIC: PRINCIPLE OF FORGIVENESS. (MATT 18:15-35)

Forgiveness is not gained or to be done anyhow or unconditionally.  Before God forgives you, you must humble yourself and confess your sins and then ask for forgiveness.  God by then will not fail to forgive  you.  By then it shows your submissiveness and subjection to God.  Also another condition for God to forgive you is that you must forgive others their sins without which God cannot forgive you even if you ask.

TOPIC: SPIRITUAL UNDERTONES FOR YOUR RENEWAL: THE APPOINTED TIME HAS COME

God can always do it again. He is God of repetition. He did it for Daniel, Moses, Jesus, Lazarus, Shedrach, Meshach, Abednego, Hannah, Elizabeth, the virgin Mary, Zachariah, Manoah, Gideon, Sampson, John, David, Samuel, Elijah, Joseph, Elisha, Naaman, Hezekiah, Jehoshaphat, Mary Magdalene and Peter. God did it also for Jeremiah, Adam and Eve, Paul, Silas, Abel, Abraham, Sarah, Lot, Noah, Hagar, Ishmael, Isaac, Rebecca, Jacob, Leah, Rachel, Pharaoh’s Cupbearer, Aaron, Joshua, Jael, Miriam, Israelites in the wilderness, etc, etc.

God always repeat events as he likes. God has appointed time for everything in your life. He has time table for you. God told the troubled prophet Habakkuk, “The vision is for an appointed time” – Hab. 2:1-4. The appointed time does not always fail to come. Know that there are lots of events lined up to take pace in your life. For some of them, the appointed time came and you were glad. Yet still for others, the appointed time could be today, tomorrow, next week, next year or two years to come.

TOPIC: UNDER THE LAW OR GRACE? UNDER THE FLESH OR SPIRIT? BY THEIR FRUITS YE SHALL KNOW THEM

Is what you believe (doctrine) able to save you from your old way of life? If yes, it is a true faith. But if not, it is a false doctrine. The Bible clearly declares, “therefore if any man be in Christ he is a new creature, old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new” 2 Corinth. 5:17. There is what is called saving faith. It is a faith that is able to make you righteous. A faith that produces good changes in your life (spirit, soul and body).

The tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. The tongue is a fire. It can produce either holy fire or strange fire. Acts 2:3, “They saw what seemed to be tongue of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.

The presence of the Holy Spirit in a life produces holy tongue and holy fire.

When given utterance by the Holy Spirit, you declare the wonders of God in God’s language (Heavenly language) – Acts 2:5-11.

Brother Lazarus was under bondage and the Lord Jesus said to the people by the power of God “Loose him, and let him go”. Good enough the mission was accomplished and Lazarus who was bound hand and foot with grave clothes was loosed by the Holy Spirit.

My sincerest desire and prayer to God is that you be loosed and allowed to go. I myself cannot loose you because I have no power of my own, for it is not by power nor by might but by the Spirit.
